The Department of English currently offers four programs, four-years BS degree program in English Associate degree program (ADP) and prestigious program of MPhil English (Literature) and PhD English (Literature) which were offered due to high demand and popularity of the higher degree program of English in the market. Additionally, efforts are afoot to plan and launch MPhil and PhD in (Linguistics). Currently, the department has a lively postgraduate (master’s and doctoral) student body. An excellent team of highly qualified and dedicated faculty strives to provide optimal motivation to students for building a collective consciousness through fostering responsible, empathetic, intellectual, creative individuals, and critical thinkers with an enhanced awareness of not only the academic realm, but also towards a positive contribution to society. Our teaching, research and professional activities are also regularly energized by visiting faculty and through the convening of talks, seminars, and conferences.
