Samra Naz is a faculty member in International Relations Department, Muslim Youth University since September 2016.
She is pursuing her doctorate degree from Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad. She obtained MS Degree from International Islamic University Islamabad where her dissertation was ‘Future of International Power Structure: Unipolar or Multi Polar’? She also got a certificate on "Interpreting Media Content and Content Analysis" from SPIR, QAU. She has taught to Masters and BS students in Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad and International Islamic University Islamabad as Visiting Faculty member. She has participated in number of conference such as two day international conference on the ‘Global Strategic Environment in the post-2014 Era and Pakistan’, organized by School of "Politics and international Relations, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad and Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Islamabad”, on 16-17 October 2014 and attended a two day conference on ‘The Dynamics of Change in the Pakistan-Afghanistan Region: Politics on Borderland’ held on August 29-31, 2016 by Department of Political Science, University of Peshawar. She also presented a paper on “Societal Perspective of Nuclear Taboo” in International Conference on "Nuclear Taboo and Norms in the Second Nuclear Age: Views from Pakistan" at School of Politics and International Relations , Quaid-i- Azam University, Islamabad , March 2, 2016.
Research Interest: Her areas of interest include Theories of IR, Political Thought, World Order, International System, Nuclear Politics and Philosophy of Research. She foresees a dedicated career in academia.
