Engineering is the art and science of problem solving! An education in engineering prepares one to be learned in the art and science of problem solving. Not so much to master these skills, but to develop an acute understanding of knowing what can/cannot be done and how to do it, given a problem. The engineering education is not just confined to the classroom walls, but goes on beyond. In fact, we are continually driven to prepare our students to be lifelong learners in a world that is increasingly dependent on technology.
I would like to welcome you to take a challenge by aspiring to become a student of The Department of Electrical Engineering and becoming a part of a dynamic group of people with leading edge ideas and ready to work in a highly rigorous, practical and challenging environment.
The greatest resource, of course, of our Faculty is its people. Our faculty members are known for their commitment to teaching and outcome-based research. Our vision is to educate technological leaders of tomorrow so that they can contribute to the arena of "knowledge-economy". Our goal is to position our engineering graduates to be problem solvers, project leaders, communicators, and ethical citizens of a global community. The departments at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology of Muslim Youth University maintain an array of alliances with various industries by visiting with students, serving on advisory boards, and acting as consultants. Our close collaborations with research institutions create a wealth of research options for the faculty members and students as well.
Please come forward, visit us and see yourself what we claim! Where you will discover not only engineering and technological excellence but also cultural and intellectual activities.
If you join us you will become a member of an academic community, which is proud of its traditions and its contemporary education.
I look forward to welcome you here and hope that you will enjoy yourself and participate fully in the life at MYU as you take your first step towards an education in engineering. On behalf of the faculty and the university, I wish you good luck in your endeavors and hope to see you with us.
