Prof. Dr. Jabar Zaman Khan Khattak served as an Professor (Tenured) and has held various academic, administrative, and research roles in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). With over 16 years of diversified experience in academia, research, and consultancy, he has made significant contributions to Plant Molecular Biology, Agricultural sciences, Environmental Sciences, Medicinal Plants, Green Nano synthesis, food security, and halal food accreditation. Dr. Khattak was instrumental in developing curricula and supervising numerous BS, MS, and PhD students. He has represented as a member of different committees at administrative level.

Dr Khattak is an overseas faculty member and has a passion to contribute his skills and experience to benefits HEIs in Pakistan. Dr Khattak has worked as a Chairman of Department and Deputy Director of QEC at University level. Dr. Khattak has contributed to the establishment of international halal standards and processes, working closely with different organizations across Scandinavia and the United Kingdom (UK). His expertise extends to plant breeding and genetics, where he reported the first genetic map of spinach and studied spinach diversity, earning him recognition in the field.

Dr. Khattak completed his PhD in Plant Breeding & Genetics from The Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University, Copenhagen /Copenhagen University, Denmark, in 2006. He has a Postdoc from Sweden. He also holds certifications in Food Safety Compliance, including FSS 22000, ISO 19011, and has a robust educational background in Plant Sciences. Additionally, he holds an MBA (Executive) in Common Wealth from AIOU/ (Canada). Dr Khattak has also certification of International Human Resource management (IHRM) from Copenhagen Business School (CBS), Denmark.

He has published fifty two publications and three book chapters in well reputed recognized journals. His multilingual proficiency in English, Danish, Swedish, Urdu, Pushto, Punjabi, and Arabic enhances his ability to work in diverse environment. Dr. Khattak’s research interests include developing sustainable solutions for plant molecular biology, Genetic mapping and fostering international collaborations in education and consultancy. Dr Khattak is also willing to represent himself as a European counterpart to collaborate with Pakistani Universities.
