Dr. Mehwish Manzoor serving as assistant professor in the department of sports sciences and physical education. she has an extensive academic and professional background in Physical Education and Sports Science. She holds a PhD in Physical Education and Sports Science from the University of Sindh, Jamshoro, with a focus on the impact of physical activity and sports on academic achievement. She is currently a lecturer at the Department of Physical Education and Sports Science, Government College University, Lahore, since 2022.
Dr. Mehwish is actively engaged in research, with numerous publications in national and international journals. Her research interests span a wide range of topics including the psychological effects of physical activities, the influence of sports on cognitive skills, and the sociocultural barriers to sports participation among female athletes. She has also contributed to international conferences, presenting papers on the impact of sports on students' development and well-being. Dr. Mehwish’s career includes significant teaching and research experience, having served as a visiting lecturer at various universities such as the University of Narowal and the University of Gujrat. She has also held roles in academic administration and tutorship at multiple educational institutions. Her dedication to both education and sports science makes her a valuable asset in her field.
