Engr. Dr. Ghulam Yaseen, Associate Professor/Head of Civil Engineering Department

 

Working as an Associate Professor/Head of Civil Engineering Department in "MY University, Islamabad". He has 15 years of excellent experience in academics, administration, research, and consultancy services. Enhancing the professional knowledge to deal the challenging problems and show commitment to growth and development of the organization. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate level with implementation, accreditation, assessment and evaluation of outcome-based education system. Provides expertise and leadership in technology-based intellectual design and consultancy services in planning, designing, monitoring and rehabilitation of public and private infrastructure through sustainable built of environment. Review and evaluate all design components for different nature of projects.

 

He earned a BSc in Civil Engineering and an MSc in Civil Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology Taxila, Rawalpindi titled "Aggregate shape characterization to monitor the performance". He earned a Doctor of Philosophy in civil engineering from the UET Taxila with a research title "Performance Evaluation of Aged Asphalt Binder through Rejuvenators". He has excellent experience in academia, research design consultancy and administrative activities. He has published more than 10 research articles in internationally reputed journals.
