Israr Ahmed is a dedicated scholar and Lecturer in English with over eight years of teaching and research experience in the field of English Linguistics and Literature. He holds both Master's and MS degrees in English Linguistics and Literature, with advanced specialization in Sociolinguistics, Pragmatics, Syntax, Stylistics, and Literary Theories. His primary research orientation lies within the framework of Systemic Functional Linguistics (SFL), focusing particularly on Transitivity Analysis as a tool for exploring meaning, ideology, and stylistic variation across texts.

Mr. Ahmed has authored and co-authored several research papers published in recognized academic journals, addressing issues at the interface of language, cognition, and discourse. His work reflects a deep engagement with both the structural and interpretive dimensions of language, bridging the gap between linguistic theory and literary expression.

Currently, he is pursuing a PhD in English Linguistics, undertaking a comparative study of Shina and English to examine how linguistic structures shape thought, figurative expression, and worldview. His research contributes to the broader understanding of cross-linguistic conceptualization and cognitive stylistics.

In addition to his scholarly endeavors, Mr. Ahmed is a trilingual poet, composing poetry in Urdu, English, and Shina, where his creative work mirrors his academic fascination with language, identity, and aesthetics.
