Waseem Khokhar is Assistant Professor  of International Relations at MY University, Islamabad. Mr. Khokhar holds Ph.D. degree in American Studies/International Relations from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad. He has won Ph.D. IRSIP fellowship from HEC and conducted research work at Emory University, Atlanta, USA.  He holds M. Phil. degree in American Studies from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, M.A. International Relations from University of the Punjab, Lahore and M.Sc. Mass Communication from AIOU, Islamabad. He is a member of Midwest Political Science Association (MPSA), Chicago, USA where he has been presenting papers at MPSA annual conferences since 2021. 

Before joining MY University, Waseem Khokhar served as a visiting lecturer at Quaid-e-Azam University and International Islamic University Islamabad. He has also worked in the non-profit sector and having 10 years’ work experience in the field of media.  
 
He has published papers in journals and articles in newspapers. His research interests are Foreign Policy, IGOs, Pakistan-US relations, South Asia, Pakistan's domestic politics, politics of foreign aid, comparative politics and war against terrorism.
