𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐧 “𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐡”
University of Wah (UW), in collaboration with the Seerah Study Centre for Children, Jamia Muhammadi Sharif Chinyot, and Muslim Hands International UK, organized the 1st International Seerah Conference on “Education of Children and Personality Development in the Light of Seerah” on 21 December 2023. The core objective of the conference was to foster the growth of children's personalities and augment their knowledge through education about the Seerah.
 
Prof. Dr. Anees Ahmad, an esteemed social scientist and the founding Vice Chancellor of Riphah International University, Islamabad, was the Chief Guest at the opening ceremony. In his address, he emphasized the importance of children's moral and personality development in light of Seerah. He also highlighted the role of educational institutions and teachers in addressing parenting challenges and stressed the significance of following Seerah in all aspects of life for overall success. Prof. Dr. Jameel-Un Nabi, the Vice Chancellor University of Wah, underscored the importance of children's education and development through the teachings of Seerah. Dr. Mussarat Malik, Conference Chair/Chairperson, Dept. of Islamic & Pak Studies-UW welcomed the guest speakers, conference chairs, participants, and guests. She highlighted the significance of educating citizens, especially children, based on the teachings of the Holy Quran.

The conference was attended by 200 individuals from 35 universities, encompassing both local and international institutions, who appreciated UW's efforts in exploring the profound teachings of the Seerah and their application in shaping our children's future. The conference emphasized a holistic approach to education that includes moral values, ethical principles, and well-rounded personality development, instilling a passion for learning and ethical conduct in children and cultivating a generation that embodies noble qualities per the Prophet’s (PBUH) teachings. In the end, shields and certificates are distributed among participants and organizers.
