Universiti Malaya Delegation Visit MY University for Two-Day Seminar (17th-18th December 2024)
A 20-member delegation from Universiti Malaya, Malaysia, visited MY University for a two-day seminar, fostering academic collaboration and exchange. The delegation comprised esteemed academics from the Faculty of Islamic Studies, including professors, the Deputy Registrar, and students pursuing higher education.
The seminar featured insightful lectures, discussions on student mobility programs, exchange of teachers or research programs, and postdoctoral opportunities. The events were held under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Saeedul Hassan, Vice Chancellor of MY University.
The sessions were chaired by:
1. Deen of Social Sciences, Dr. Munir Ahmad (First Session)
2. Director of the Institute of Islamic Studies and Shari'ah, Dr. Muhsin Zia Qazi (Second Session)
Dr. Najam ud Din Kokab Hashmi served as the program coordinator. Other notable attendees from the Faculty of Islamic Studies included Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Ramadan, Dr. Abdul Samee Jessar, Mr. Mahboob ur Rahman, and Mr. Muhammad Zakir.
This significant visit marks a milestone in strengthening academic ties between the two institutions. The collaboration is expected to pave the way for future joint research initiatives, faculty exchanges, postdoctoral programs, and student mobility programs, enriching the academic experiences of students and faculty members from both universities.
