Dr. Claudio Longobardi, Professor at Università degli Studi di Torino, Italy, recently visited MY University Islamabad. He talked about research relating to student-teacher interaction, social media addiction, cyberbullying, academic psychology and counseling with faculty members and students.
Dr. Longobardi has spent his academic career finding correlations between students’ academic performances and factors like social media, emotional well-being, mentorship, and college to higher education transition. Apart from this, he has been working on COVID 19 implications on usage of social media and loneliness in adolescents.
The faculty at MY University also discussed further collaboration between the two institutions with respect to research in Biological and Social Sciences.
