The Department of Engineering MY University, Islamabad organized a Webinar on Career Counseling on August 27, 2020
Speaker was Mr. Hafiz Zain Saeed. (Mr. Zain is a Professional/Chartered Structural Engineer registered with the PEC (Pakistan Engineering Council) and member of the American Society of Civil Engineers. He has worked in research projects related to Nonlinear Static Analysis (Pushover Analysis) and Re-Strengthening/Retrofitting of Reinforced concrete bridges and compiled numerous research papers in the same domain. His previous activity in consultancy as Structural Engineer concerned design of numerous high rise RCC Commercial, recreational, religious and educational buildings for different Earthquake-prone areas of Pakistan. He also worked for the designing of Highway Structures including Retaining Walls, RC and Prestressed Girder Bridges for the NHA (National Highway Authority, Pakistan). He also has international experience of working with Rizzani De Eccher-Lotte-Redco Joint Venture (RLR-JV) as Design Interface and Stakeholder Coordinator on (Qatar Rail Metro Project) with responsibilities for the design coordination with various consultants to ensure compliance with the employer requirements and resolving Technical issues with clients, consultants and sub- contractors.)
