BS- Dental Technology at Iqra University Department of Allied Health Sciences is 4 years semester based programme. Students have opportunities here to learn and practice in the dental labs. On completion of bachelor degree students will have international recognition or they can start up their dental lab setups. students who are interested in pursuing higher goals can do master.

Learning Outcomes :

Upon the completion of Dental Laboratory technology program, the students:

• will demonstrate proficiency in fabricating dental prosthetics and appliances, including crowns, bridges, dentures, and orthodontic devices, using a variety of materials and techniques.
• will apply fundamental principles of dental anatomy, materials science, and biomedical sciences to design and create functional and aesthetically pleasing dental restorations.
• will implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure that dental products meet industry standards and specifications, as well as individual patient needs.
• will utilize advanced digital technologies, such as CAD/CAM systems, 3D printing, and digital imaging, to enhance the precision and efficiency of dental prosthetic production.
• will exhibit strong ethical principles, effective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with dental professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and the successful integration of dental technology into clinical practice.

Entry Criteria :

50% marks in HSSC (Pre-Medical or Equivalent).
