Cyber Security is a multidisciplinary field involving Mathematics, Information & Coding Theory, Computer Architecture, Algorithms & Programming, Data Comm. Networks & Reconfigurable Computing Systems. The program provides the students an opportunity to grasp multiple state of the art technologies including:- Internet of Things (IOT), Software Defined Networks (SDN), Cloud Computing, Multiprocessors (Multicore, GPUs & Cluster) systems, Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs), System & Netw on Chip (SOC/NOC) & Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs). It will prepare them to take up & solve most challenging problems arising in the field of Cyber Security.
The proposed program is intended to establish an integrated breadth and depth based curriculum model to assure that the common aspects of various potential areas in Cyber Security are captured. The proposed curriculum structure is implemented within four-semester time. A thesis work will be unified with student’s chosen depth oriented specialties. The program is structured with a common core of fundamental material and wide range of options for the rest of the course work.
Duration:
The minimum duration of the MS Cyber Security two years and maximum duration is four years as per HEC policy.
Award of Masters’ Degree:
On recommendations of the FBS of the University will award Master’s degree to the students who satisfy the following conditions:
