The MSIR program of three years (one year consisting of two semester for course work and two years for thesis writing) offers unique opportunity to the students to study advanced subjects of IR relating to Foreign Policy of Great Powers, issues relating to Arms Control and Disarmament, Conflict and cooperation in South Asia, Traditional and Non-traditional Security Paradigms including Maritime Security and regional connectivity/CPEC. The study will also include a wide range of theories and approaches to IR, develop skill of in-depth and critical analysis on international politics and familiarize with the latest cutting-edge research in the discipline.

Main purpose of MS two years in International Relations is to prepare graduates having a deep knowledge of the subject as well as ability to analyze any given situation and draw out conclusions. The syllabus of the subject is designed by keeping in the view that following objectives.
The graduates passed under this program should have a sound knowledge of the subject. For this purpose an intensive and extensive program spread over 2 -Years MS in International Relations.
MS IR Program Admission Requirements
A prospective applicant to an MS IR program must have:
A minimum of 30 credit hours are required for acquiring MS-IR Degree including 6 credit hours of thesis if it is undertaken.
