MISSION
The mission of the BS Economics program related to defense and national security is to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the economic principles and policies that underpin effective national defense and security strategies. Our program seeks to cultivate critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills that will prepare graduates for successful careers in the public and private sectors.
Through rigorous coursework and experimental learning opportunities, students will develop a deep understanding of the economic factors that shape defense and security policies, including resource allocation, cost-benefit analysis, risk assessment, and decision-making under uncertainty. Our program also emphasizes the importance of ethical and moral considerations in national defense and security, and encourages students to explore the complex social, cultural, and political contexts in which these issues arise.
OBJECTIVE
The objective of the BS program with specialization in Defense and National Security is to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to analyze and address the complex economic issues related to defense and security at the national, regional, and global levels.
As a BS Economics program related to defense and national security, we are committed to producing graduates who are well-equipped to contribute meaningfully to the defense and security of their nations and communities, and who possess the skills and knowledge necessary to navigate the complex and dynamic global landscape of the 21st century.
