Main purpose of MPhil Program 2 years in Urdu is to prepare graduates having a deep knowledge of the subject as well as ability to analyze any given situation and draw out conclusions. The syllabus of the subject is designed by keeping in the view that following objectives.

a. To educate the students who could analyze traditional and modern school of theories on the basis of research.

b. To create a sense of measurement of Urdu poetry and prose. Moreover, research and criticism are also major objectives of Urdu subject.

c. To present the research outcomes and recommendations for new researchers.

d. To produce the scholars who are experts of language and literature who could be example for others.

e. To promote the learning of Urdu and scientific study of Urdu Literature.

Scope Regarding Market:

a. Aim and major objective of this program is to prepare scholars to initiate dialogue in Urdu language and literature perspective.

b. This program will ensure the young researchers and scholars to participate in the interfaith dialogue for development of Urdu language in all over the world.

c. It is largely beneficial to nation builders.

d. This is an advanced level studies for students waiting for their future learning, their proficiency as professionals and their selection and promotion in their field.

e. There are a lot of job opportunities on completion of MPhil Urdu, the students can have numerous options to choose from Work as Research scholar, doing job as an Urdu Scholar and also career options including existing opportunities in public and private sector educational institutions.

قواعد و ضوابط:۔

۱۔ اس پروگرام میں دوتدریسی سمسٹر ہوں گے۔

۲۔ ہر سمسٹر میں چار چار نصابات پڑھائے جائیں گے۔

۳۔ مقالہ کا دورانیہ کم از کم دوسمسٹر اور زیادہ سے زیادہ چھے سمسٹر پر مشتمل ہو گا۔

۴۔ ہر نصاب کے سو (۱۰۰)نمبرہوں گے۔ نمبروں کی تقسیم حسب ذیل ہے:۔

کورس کا تعارف (Course Description)

عملِ تحقیق کے کئی اصول متعین ہیں جن کی بنیاد پر معیاری تحقیق فروغ پاتی ہے۔ یہ اصول نہ صرف زمانۂ جدیدسے تعلق رکھتے ہیں بلکہ ان کا تعلق روایت سے مربوط ہے۔ ان تحقیقی اصولوں کے بغیر ایک مقالہ نگار کے لیے تحقیق کی راہیں بہت دشوار ہو جاتی ہیں۔ لہذا ضروری ہے کہ ابتدائی سطح پر تحقیقی اصول متعارف کروائے جائیں۔
